Our history

120 years at the service of recycling

Brígida Vilalta Casals begins recovery activities.

Francisco Alberich Vilalta gave the company an industrial dimension with recycling activities in Poblenou (Barcelona).

Pedro Alberich Larguier joined the company invigorating the areas of demolition and scrapping industrial plants and ships.


We became a member of the BIR (Bureau of International Recycling).


The business became a Limited Company (Sociedad Anónima). Purchase of the waste management plant in Castellbisbal (Barcelona).


Pedro Alberich De Castro and Francisco Alberich De Castro joined the company, and are currently the Managing Directors, driving the expansion in management of industrial waste.


The waste management plant in La Llagosta (Barcelona) is added.


Start-up of construction aggregates recycling area.


Update and expansion of environmental licences, implementing systems and machinery to recycle electric cabling, electrical transformers and electronic equipment.


The authorisation as a WEEE Treatment Plant is granted.


An innovative system to fragment scrap metal by water injection minimising residues and adding value to obsolete materials and vehicles.


SCRAPCENTER and SCRAP XTREM operations begin

Start-up of the new production line for secondary aluminium from Zorba.


Start-up of new installations to recycle aluminium cans.


Acquisition of 16,500m2 to expand our Castellbisbal center.

Beginning of the new Center of Constantí (Tarragona).
